2019 Goals

So Sunday the 6th was the very first new moon of the year and I have learned that it is the time to write down all of your goals for this coming year and bury them. Now, I’m not entirely sure if I’m actually supposed to bury them in the ground or if it’s just a figure of speech but I’m not going to take any chances so I literally wrote them down and buried them outside my camper. I could have taken it too far, but who cares. I refuse to let another year slip by where I watch too much TV and don’t get shit done, so here are my top 5 goals for this 2019!

1. I will post one piece of content on the blog every day from this day forward!

I have taken so many trips and experienced so many exciting and, sometimes, terrifying adventures that I haven’t shared with you all, so I went through my cameral roll on my phone and wrote down everything I need tow write about and publish on my blog and I hope you all love and are able to use the information to plan your own great adventure.

2. I will work hard at maintaining the connections I have made here in Asheville. Over the past few months I have met some of the most amazing people ever here in Asheville and working at Lululemon and I intend to keep these relationships as strong as possible. My friend Shanel said that when you find true friendship you are more likely to look for it in every future friendship and that makes me so excited. Throughout my travels I have met some amazing people but haven’t been the greatest at keeping in touch, and so I refuse to let these kids slip out of my life.

3. I will open myself up to love. This one sounds kinda weird when you say it out loud but it is something that I really need to work on. So, I will say yes to more experiences, I won’t bail at the last minute, and I will be more positive when it comes to new relationships and experiences.

4. I will make 2019 my healthiest year yet. For Christmas, Santa brought me an Apple Watch and it has these activity rings and I want to close them 6 days out of the week, especially the move ring. Working behind a computer I spend a lot of time on my booty not doing much so I will plan my day around being active throughout the day. Closing the move ring is kinda hard but I’m going to do it.

5. I will visit 5 new countries this year! So a big bucket list thing for me is to visit 50 countries by the time I am 30 and I am currently at 43. If I hit 5 countries in 2019 I will be at 48 and I can definitely visit 2 countries in 3 years which means there is a possibility for me to maybe reach 60 countries by age 30.

About 4 years ago I never wrote down a single goal, or maybe I did but they were daily goals and I called it a to-do list. And now look at this! I’m burying a piece of paper in the ground and rooting for myself in achieving all of these goals. And I think you all should do the same! It is so encouraging and really motivating to see what you want your year to look like on paper. I’m so grateful for all of you and the motivation you all give me every day! So happy 2019 and I wish you all the greatest year yet.
